meet sandi wife | mother | Dean of students
Around campus, you’ll most likely find me running from one place to another, doing some of everything!
Whenever I can, I like to steal away and go pray by the river under the shadow of the huge cliffs.
Right now, I’m reading The Power of the Spirit by William Law
If you’re out and about Windsor, you’ll probably find me at Safeway buying stuff to make a yummy salad.
Tea or coffee? (in case you want to treat the staff)
Medium Chai Tea Latte, extra hot!
Sunshine in the morning and fresh flowers always make me smile.
When I as very young I thought I was going to be a nurse. And actually, I was an RN for a time. Then I turned into a mommy, and when I grew up, I became a grandmother.
Recently, I’ve been contemplating the absolute preciousness of praying without ceasing.
Something I’m most excited about for you as a student is... well, ALL the things I find exciting here: the challenges to live in ALL of the Promised Land, a heart more dedicated to prayer, absolutely and totally inspiring teaching, and all the love you could want in precious friendships!
My favorite aspect about the Ellerslie environment is...the Presence of the Spirit of God all over this campus . . . moving, guiding, wooing, convicting, breaking through strongholds, setting the captives free, strengthening, equipping, encouraging, and bringing JOY . . . as everyone visibly falls more and more in love with our precious Lord Jesus, each other, and the vulnerable and lost.
A historical Christian character that could be my replacement here at Ellerslie would be...one of the Etceteras.
The funniest thing that's happened to me at Ellerslie is...well, ONE of the funniest things happened not long ago . . . one of the little children from Haiti came up to me with a twinkle in their eye and said, "Hi, Auntie Grannie." And then laughed delightfully." :D
My number one highlight from the current/past Ellerslie term are...the days on which we have seen the deliverance from bondage of all kinds, that comes when souls have been "Reckoning With Truth". ("You shall know the Truth; and the Truth shall make you free.")
